Dairy Queen®, or Orange Julius®? #LMDConnector

I fell in love with ice cream at a very early age. Mom still tells me stories of when my Dad use to share his ice cream with me, when I was a baby. How could I not grow to love the silky smooth creamy goodness? But not all ice cream is created equally. I remember the first time my parent's brought us to Dairy Queen®. We lived in a small mining town, so the closest major city was 45 minutes away. Needless to say, we didn't go to the big city often, so when we did, it was a special treat. Dad always stopped somewhere special to treat us and one of our favourites was Dairy Queen®. The smooth and silky ice cream is really out of this world. I've never had such an awesome ice cream any where else. It feels so velvety smooth on your tongue. I'm totally craving a Peanut Buster Parfait®, or Kit Kat Blizzard® right now!!

When I was a pre teen, a near by town built a Dairy Queen®. EVERY time we would drive by, my siblings and I would beg to stop. And as we grew older and had our own vehicles, you could often find us going on after dinner Dairy Queen® runs, LOL. And what shopping trip would be complete without an Orange Julius® drink, or Blizzard®?

During the next few months, General Mills is making it super easy to enjoy some of your favourite treats. Starting April 1st, you'll be able to find 2 coupons (1 for Orange Julius® and 1 for a Blizzard®) on specially marked boxes for General Mills cereal. Between April 1st- 31st, you can redeem your coupons for a FREE Orange Julius® at any participating Dairy Queen® locations. Then between May 1st and 31st, Blizzard® treat coupons can be redeemed at participating locations. How awesome is that?? So, share your Dairy Queen® memories with your family and maybe start a new tradition, courtesy of General Mills!
