What's for Eats? Sunday April 28, 2013

Happy Sunday and dare I say it? Happy SPRING!!!

Wow, I do not know where the past week went to. It's almost like I missed a whole week! Not only did I not post much this week, I ever forgot about Simple Supper Tuesday!! It will be up an running tomorrow night, I promise! I've been working on getting my Direct Sales business going and totally forgot about almost everything else this week. Plus, it was a busy week at school with volunteering and Hubby had a few days off..... ya know, life just got in the way, LOL. I'm trying my best to find a balance with everything and hopefully by summer I'll have it down pat.

Hubby gets 3 days off this week (cue the singing angels) and I've actually went grocery shopping, so we should be eating pretty well. Other than baking (to hopefully get some sales for the month of May) and helping at school on Monday and Wed, the rest of the week should be quiet. Queenie's class is having an Alphabet Party on Wed and each child needs to bring a snack starting with a certain letter. We have the letter J, so I'll be sending juice boxes and jelly beans. Only because Queenie insists on jelly beans and I'd like to send something that is a bit healthier. Here is what I have planned for the week

  • Pork Slouvaki (store bought), grilled peppers and onions, and naan bread
  • Grilled steaks with German Potato Salad , cucumber and tomato slices
  • Italian Sausage on a bun with Spinach Tomato Mozzarella Salad
  • Spaghetti and Meatballs with salad and garlic bread
  • Grilled pork chops with corn on the cob
  • leftovers
  • Baked Potato Bar- broccoli, cheese sauce, bacon, refried beans, cheese, chili
