Get Ready for Back to School with Del Monte #DelMonteBTS

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Del Monte, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #DelMonteBTS  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Though we still have just over 3 weeks of summer holidays left, the reminders of Back to School are everywhere. School supplies have been popping up, ads have been playing on TV and many of my friends in the U.S have already started the school year. While we were visiting Hubby's family in Western NY, we took the opportunity to grab a few Back to School outfits, which prompted the kids to start talking about the upcoming school year. This year will be both exciting and bittersweet. Queenie, my baby, will be heading into grade 1, which means she will be at school full time. Mr.B is headed to grade 4 this year and my brain keeps telling me that I am not old enough to be the mother of a 4th grader, LOL. Grade 4 is an exciting year at our school. Students learn about medieval history, castles, knights and all that fun stuff and they will be going to Medieval Times, for a field trip. How cool is that?

Though I am excited that both kids will be in school full time, I am a little stressed about having to pack school lunches. The kids seem bored with the lunches we were packing at the end of last year, so I need to put my thinking cap on, to make lunches fun again. One thing I can be certain the kids will always eat, are Del Monte fruit cups. Whether it's peaches, or clementines, my kiddos are crazy for these handy single serving cups of Del Monte fruit.

While shopping at the Walmart Super Store in North Tonawanda NY, the kids and I noticed a new product from Del Monte. These new Fruit Burst Squeezers are cute little pouches, filled with pureed fruit and vegetables, with a convenient twist top, that lets you close it up, if you want to save some for later. The kids immediately gravitated to the blueberry flavour, so we gave them a try.  All I can say is YUM!! The kids LOVE them and I LOVE that every pouch contains 1 1/2 servings of fruits and veggies. Such a fun and delicious way to get those much needed fruits and veggies into your kiddos.

Talking about Walmart Super Stores.... did you know that they have paired up with Del Monte and are offering their customers a FREE  back to school photo print offer? To participate you will need to bring in a photo (no copyrighted photos, like school pictures, will be eligible for the free print) of your kid(s), or you can upload and use one from your phone or SD card while in store. The Walmart Print Shop will then make your picture into a 5”x7” print with a Back to School border. Your actual picture will be 4”x6”. When you receive your picture after it is printed you should receive a coupon for $1 off Del Monte products in the photo envelope. This promotion runs August 1 – September 13, while supplies last at SELECT Walmart Super Store Print Shops across the United States.

So capture your Back to School memories, then head to your nearest Walmart Super Store Print Shop, to take part in their free back to school photo offer, and get your coupon for $1 off the purchase of (2) Del Monte 4-pack Fruit Cups or (2)Fruit Burst Squeezers (again offer is available from 8/1 to 9/13 while supplies last). Provide your kids with a healthy lunch option that will help them focus in school.

The Squeezers sound like a very convenient (and sneakily-nutritious)way to perk up a sack lunch!
