Guest Post- Tampa Cake Girl Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bread

Hi!  I am Cydnee, owner and proprietor of Tampa Cake Girl.  I bake cakes, pies, cupcakes and appetizers and deliver all over Tampa and surrounding cities. I started my food blog December 2013.  You will find not just desserts, but all kinds of recipes on my page. I am honored to help my sweet friend Cindy out while she enjoys some family time.

What goes better with peanut butter, than chocolate. Both make this bread moist and oh so delicious!

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Bread
Tampa Cake Girl

Ingredients:
1 stick of butter, melted
1 cup of sugar
1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk
2/3 cup peanut butter, I used smooth, chunky would be good too
1/2 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. I used Bakers Joy Spray.

Beat sugar and butter to combine. Add eggs, vanilla, peanut butter and buttermilk. Mix well.

In a small bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Combine dry ingredients to wet batter, mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 50 - 60 minutes until tester comes out clean. Cool in pan for 20 minutes. Slice and serve.
