Guest Post~ Tampa Cake Girl Pineapple Chicken

Hi!  I am Cydnee, owner and proprietor of Tampa Cake Girl.  I bake cakes, pies, cupcakes and appetizers and deliver all over Tampa and surrounding cities. Enjoy this sweet and savory Pinapple Chicken.

Pineapple Chicken
Tampa Cake Girl
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon celery seed
I teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 stick of butter
1/3 cup soy sauce
Juice from a can of sliced pineapple rings

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Whisk and mix all dry ingredients together.  Melt butter in a skillet. Cost the chicken in the flour mixture on all sides. Cook in skillet until lightly brown.  Transfer to an 8" baking pan.

Mix soy sauce and pineapple juice from the can of pineapple rings. Pour over chicken. Place pineapple rings on top of chicken ( you may have a few rings leftover). Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. I spooned the soy- pineapple sauce over the chicken after I placed the pineapple rings on top and again before serving. Serve with rice on the side.

This is an awesome chicken recipe! Simple and tasty! I love that you use real butter in it, instead of frying in veg oil! <3
