A Crafty Afternoon with Rice Krispies Multigrain Shapes~ #RKFunShapes

I hosted a craft party featuring Kellog's NEW Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes Cereal, for Queenie and some of her friends, on a cold and muddy fall afternoon.

I don't know about any other mom who has a 5-8 yr old in the house, but my fridge is ALWAYS covered with new pieces of artwork. From school art, to craft time at home, it's hard to find room to display new creations. So, when the chance to throw a fun craft party, came about, I knew Queenie and her friends would have a blast. Plus, it was a great reason for me to get together with some girlfriends, before the hectic holiday season.

Kellog's Rice Krispies Multi-Grain ShapesI invited 4 of Queenie's friends, but only two could attend. No matter, the girls had a super fun time! They quickly got to work creating bead necklaces and bracelets, while us mommies caught up and chatted about new babies and babies to come. Soon everyone was feeling peckish, so we dug into the Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes single servings cups. Kids and moms alike ate them with gusto. As big fans of Kellog's Rice Krispies, we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious these Multi-Grain Shapes are. Not too sweet and deliciously crunchy.

Once the girls realized that the cereal comes in fun shapes like leaves, fish, flowers and "me", they decided to add shapes to their paintings and drawings. I was gifted a few of their creations, which have taken up residence on my fridge. It was so much fun to see the kids imagination at work and to see how the fun, whimsical shapes encourage creativity and make snack time, or breakfast time so much more fun!

Of course as moms, my girlfriends were happy to see that Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes cereal are made with wholesome grains and provide 11g of whole grains per serving. That means that they are a great source of fiber and contain 8 essential nutrients including iron and 20% of the daily value of vitamin D. While we snacked on the cereal dry, the kids have been enjoying them for breakfast with milk; making me confident that they are getting a good start to their day.

Since I only had two guest for our party, I sent them both home with a box of Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes cereal, to enjoy at home with their families. YOU can now find Kellog's Rice Krispies Multi-Grain Shapes cereal in your grocery store cereal ailse.

I love to eat Rice Krispies in the homemade granola bars I make. We use them instead of nuts so they can be brought to school. They add the perfect amount of CRUNCH!!
