What's for Eats? November 2, 2014

Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

Well another holiday done and gone, now to get ready for Christmas. I know most of you will be getting ready for Thanksgiving, but here in Canada, we celebrated that last month. I do have a yummy Thanksgiving recipe or two planned for this month though :o). Our Halloween was COLD. As always the day started out with rain (I don't think we've had a rainless Halloween since we moved back to Canada) and by the time the sun went down, so did the temperatures. We only got about 50 kids, half of what we got last year and the kids only last an hour, trick-or-treating with Daddy. Good thing, because we have TONS of Halloween candy leftover.

This week will be interesting. We have a funeral to attend, so I'm not really sure what will be going on. I'll plan my regular meal plan, but may carry ideas over to next week, if I don't get to them this week. Here is my plan for the week:

  • Slow Cooker Salisbury Steaks (new recipe), with mashed potatoes and peas
  • hot dogs, tator tots, and veggies and dip
  • leftovers
Hun... What's for Dinner? What's for Eats? Nov 2, 2014- roast shrimp cocktail

  • Roast Shrimp Cocktail with a baked potato bar (broccoli and cheese topping, bacon and cheese topping, chili topping)
  • Creamy Caprese Pasta (new recipe) with garlic bread
  • leftovers
