What's for Eats? Sunday November 30, 2014

Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

Well, tomorrow is the first day of December, which means Christmas is just around the corner. My Christmas cards will be mailed out and I will start planning my dessert trays. I always try to make new desserts every year, mixed with our old favourites. Today we are heading to see the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, which is stopping near by. It is so much fun, when the train cars open up, for a short Christmas concert. It will be the first time the kids will see it, so it should be tons of fun!

We have a few busy nights this week. Monday we have our December PTA meeting and Thursday is our school's night for a local hockey game. One again, it'll be the kids first hockey game, so it should be a lot of fun. I prefer hockey live, rather then on TV, so I'm looking forward to it! Other than that, no other big plans. Here is my menu for the week. I am bringing some things over, that I just haven't gotten to last week (due to poor planning on my part)

  • Baked Black Bean Empanadas with Spanish Rice (new recipes)

Crock Pot Moose Stew- Hun... What's for Dinner?

Taco Style Enchiladas- www.hunwhatsfordinner.com

  • Taco Style Enchiladas with sauteed peppers and onions
  • leftovers
  • pork roast with Potato Fennel Gratin (new recipe) and honey orange glazed carrots
