Crescent Taco Ring

Taco seasoned beef is wrapped into a fun crescent roll ring.

Pampered Chef Crescent Taco Ring

As 2014 came to the end, so did my journey as a Pampered Chef consultant. Though I LOVE the products and recipes, I just was not cut out for asking people to host parties. Many of Pampered Chef's cookware products and kitchen gadgets will be used in my kitchen and I will always be looking at their recipes for inspiration and a delicious quick meal.

That is exactly what this recipe is; quick, easy and delicious. I first tasted this recipe at a PC team meeting, last fall. I really enjoyed it and knew that the kids and hubby would love it as well. Once the meat is cooked and crescent rolls are spread out, this recipe comes together in a snap. Not only does it taste good, it's also a pretty snazzy looking dish. I love how the taco flavoured ground beef peeks through between the crescent roll. Why not try this super fun twist on taco night.

Pampered Chef Crescent Taco Ring

Crescent Taco Ring
adapted from The Pampered Chef

1 lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1 1/4 C shredded marble cheddar cheese, divided
2 Tbs water
2 tubes of crescent rolls (8 count)
lettuce, olives, marble cheddar and sour cream, for garnish

In a large skillet, cook ground beef until no longer pink; about 7-9 minutes. Drain and stir in taco seasoning, 1 C cheese and water. Set aside.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Unroll the crescent rolls and separate into triangles. Arrange crescent rolls in a circle (on a pizza stone, or cookie sheet), with wide ends overlapping in the center and narrow ends toward the outside.

Scoop meat mixture onto widest part of the circle. Bring narrow ends over the filling and carefully tuck under dough at the center of the circle. (The filling will not be completely covered)

Bake for 20-25 minutes; until dough is golden brown. Remove from oven and let set 5-10 minutes.

Shred the lettuce and chop the olives. Place lettuce in the center of the ring and sprinkle with remaining marble cheddar, olives and top with a dollop of sour cream.

Hi Cindy! It's been a while but you linked up to Thriving on Thursday back in April 2014, the last time I had the linky party. Great news! I've started up the linky party again and I'd love for you to stop by some time and link up some of your projects. Hope to see you soon.
