What's for Eat's? Sunday Jan 4th, 2015

Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

Well, tomorrow we get back to reality, with the kids going back to school after a glorious 17 day Christmas break. It was wonderfully relaxing and much needed! They are excited to get back into a routine, since they've started missing their teachers and friends. I will be taking advantange of my time alone, to put Christmas away, for another year.

Other than that, we don't really have plans this week. I am helping at school on Monday and Wednesday. I need to work on new recipe ideas for 2015 and write up an editorial calendar. Is there anything you might like to see on Hun What's for Dinner? this year?

Here is what I have planned for dinner this week

  • Slow Cooker Garlic & Brown Sugar Chicken (new recipe), with rice and peas
  • leftovers
  • sloppy joes, with a salad
  • Crock Pot Beef tips in gravy (new recipe) with egg noodles and broccoli
  • leftovers

I'm sharing my meal plan over at Meal Plan Monday, hosted by Orgjunkie.com.

I have slacked off a bit lately but know from experience that meal planning is essential to sticking with a food budget. Lovely recipes for your family to enjoy.

Your menu sounds very delicious, and what about dessert? Now I must have a dessert on the weekend, kind of like a treat!! I'm looking forward to seeing the new recipes once you've done them. Yummy!

Hi Cindy! I'm stopping by from Menu Plan Monday's link up. Great minds think alike! We had beef tips and rice last night! The perfect comfort food for colder temps I have to say! Have a great week!
