What's for Eats? Sunday February 22, 2015

Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

Happy Sunday!! This weekend is Mr.B's 10th birthday weekend. We celebrated with hamburgers and cake on Friday night, and went out for ice cream yesterday. Today we are having a Movie Day and I will be making a bunch of fun snacks to munch on all day. Tuesday is Hubby's 40th Birthday, so we have to get ready for that too. He is working on his birthday, but his Mom and I have bought a bunch of 40/over the hill decorations, LOL. I'm sure he'll be surprised when he gets home.

This week should prove to be a busy one. My mother in law is visiting until Tuesday evening, I have a fundraising meeting Monday night, as well as helping at school Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Oh, and a Dr's appointment on Thursday. Can you say CRAZY?!? Here is what I have planned for the week (I'm bringing over a few dishes from last week)

Love all the options. We're doing appetizers tonight for the Oscars, but I'll keep these in mind. YUM!

Sounds like you have a busy week ahead of you, but the pre-planning sound make it easier! All the recipes sound great!

I usually don't decide what we're having for dinner till I head to the supermarket. It's a wonderful idea to plan ahead. I need to get myself more organized. That veggie chowder sounds yummy. Good luck with your turkey!!
