What's for Eats? Sunday March 15, 2015

Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

This week we are off for March Break (Spring Break). My Mom came last week, to help after an out patient surgery, I needed to have. She will be staying until next weekend. Hubby is off Tuesday and, and we will be celebrating our 12th Wedding Anniversary. One of our best friends, which we haven't seen since Christmas, will be visiting on Thursday. We will also be celebrating Queenie's 7th birthday on Friday and she will be having a friend over, for a sleepover. She is super excited!!

As you can see, our week off will be a busy one, so am planning some easy dinner recipes, with a few new ones thrown in. Mom loves visiting, because she gets to eat tons of garlic and meals that my dad wouldn't like, LOL. We love spoiling her with her favourites when she visits. Here is what I have planned for the week

  • Shrimp Etoufee (new recipe) with a green salad (greens, black eyed peas, blue cheese, bacon, grape tomatoes, maple vinaigrette)
  • Low Carb Pizza with tossed salad

  • leftovers- Anniversary date night for Hubby and I
  • Medieval Chicken Legs (new recipe) with roast potatoes and veggies
  • Cheese enchiladas with tex mex corn

  • leftovers
  • hamburgers and hotdogs, with veggies and dip and birthday cake (Queenie's birthday)
