Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

Happy Sunday!! Boy, what a busy week. I feel like I haven't stopped to breathe once, this week. Today will be no different, with one cake to deliver and one cake to frost for Mr.B's birthday party this afternoon. Next week should be just as busy, with helping at school and Mr.B's class field trip to Medieval Times. I really need to stick to the meal plan this week, to make things easier for me. Last week I deviated a little, since my Mother in Law was here. I may repeat a few recipes this week, so I can get some good photos I wasn't able to get last week. Glad the recipes were delicious, LOL.
Mr.B's birthday was a few weeks ago, but Hubby couldn't get the weekend off, so we had to book his birthday party for today. He has 11 friends joining us today, so it should be a blast. I decided to go with a simple Minecraft themed cake for today. Nothing like making a dirt block with grass on it, out of chocolate cake. Couldn't be simpler right? We'll see because so far I had to run to the store for oil and ran out of cocoa powder to make the chocolate frosting. Fingers crossed the remaining frosting goes well today.
Here is what I have planned for this week
- Crock Pot Cheeseburger Soup (new recipe)
- Roast Turkey with Broccoli and Carrot Casserole
- Turkey Taco Lettuce Cups (new recipe)
- Turkey Chili
- Vegetable Chowder with biscuits (recipe redo for photos)
