Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

Sadly tomorrow ends our March break. I have really enjoyed our time off to just rest and relax. Since I had a small surgery last Friday, I had to rest more than I wanted. My mom was visiting and took great care of me and the kids. Friday we hosted some of Queenie's friends for a birthday party. We had one friend stay for a sleepover. It was so much fun. I made Queenie a Lizard birthday cake and we made our own chocolate bars to snack on. It was a great time, but Mom and I were exhausted by Saturday night, LOL.

Now I'm back to 100% and ready to get back into our school routine (although I am counting down the days until Summer vacation, LOL). I promised Queenie we would have a girls night, to go see the new Cinderella movie and go to dinner, so she is anxiously awaiting our date night. We have a few Dr appointments this week, but Hubby is off Tues-Fri. I am looking forward to spending time alone with him, while the kids are at school. Here is our menu for the week
- Moose Meatloaf (new recipe) with cauliflower mash and peas
- Shrimp Tacos with pico de gallo and guacamole
- Date night for Queenie and I (the boys will order pizza)
- Crock Pot Moose Stew
- Mediterranean Breakfast Casserole (new recipe)
