What's for Eats? Sunday June 7th, 2015

Meal planning is a great way to save money on groceries and you won't be standing in front of the fridge at 4pm, wondering what to make!

Happy Sunday! Hubby is off today, so we had a camp out in the living room last night and watched Paddington. It was a super cute movie! This morning we are trying to decide what we will do for the day. There are many options, so I think after a good breakfast we'll get our plans in motion.

This week is going to be extremely busy. I am accompanying Queenie's class to the Science Center on Tuesday and have been asked to accompany a grade 2 class to the zoo on Wednesday. On Thursday I have a small TV appearance on a local daily talk show. I'll be cooking and talking about blogging. I'm a little nervous, since this is my first TV appearance.

Since the week will be so busy, I'll be using my crock pot to make sure dinner is on the table. I love that I can get it ready in the morning and when I come home, it's ready to go. Here is what I have planned for the week


  • Grilled Chicken Under a Brick, with stuffed grilled portobellos and corn on the cob
  • Meatballs and Sauce for meatball subs, with a salad

  • Spaghetti and Vegetables (new recipe) with garlic bread
  • Crock Pot Pulled Pork sandwiches with coleslaw

WE saw Paddington a couple of weeks ago. I was pleasant surprised at how fun and entertaining it was. Every one just accept a bear could talk and it went on from there. Fantastic!!
